a kiosk word processor perhaps ?

Sorry about my previous answer. With a few afterthoughts it seems to me
you wish the user to edit before printing.

The best way to achieve your needs would IMHO be compiling an editor (or
even a word processor) from source. So you can disable all functions in
question before that.

Another approach would be to disable the menu entries and shortcuts in
the executable with a resource editor. But this is a bit dangerous. ;-)

My third suggestion would be a function (hm - how is it properly called
in English?) overload(?) using the macro facilities of your program.

Examples for Winword you'll find here:

I don't know if you could do such things with - let's say - Open Office,
though.

Sorry again.
