REQ: Online Diary thing?

This could be OT, if it is I apologise.

Can anybody recommend a free online diary that can be edited and changed
online. It might even be better if the diary can also be stored on a
computer and then ftp-ed to our website.

I can't think of what it is I need. Is it an online diary? Ultimately, I
need to be able to have it password protected so that only people who work
for us can read it. I need it to be able to be edited online (therefore have
no software to edit it).

Does such a beast exist? Do I know what I'm looking for? Does anybody have
an suggestions?

Any help is very, very welcome

Are you looking for something in which to record stuff that has
happened, or something in which to keep appointments etc?

If the former, some of the blogging services will do what you need -
Wordpress is the most flexible imo and will do all you ask.

If the latter, how abou something like My Yahoo, which includes a
calendar feature where you can enter appointments. You might also
consider starting a Yahoo Group, which also offers you a calendar, as
well as several other features you might find useful.

Appointments for the future, for upto a year.

That kind of thing.
