I've managed to get into the debugger a little more.

By 'Display the IDE with that line highlighted in yellow' do you mean the
'Locals' panel containing the Expression, Value and Type?

Hi Steve,

I appreciate you are trying to teach me the basics of using the debugger,
and I know that if I intend to go on producing and using vba code in
PowerPoint it's going to be an essential tool for me to use...

But I really am at the desperate stage now. Would it be too much to ask that
you show me how to get it working properly in the example file I sent over to
you?

I find that I tend to learn a lot more by breaking down other peoples code
anyway. Perhaps you could email me back a working example? You can reply to
the email I sent you if you like.
