RePost: I Need some help

I am running Win XP home SP-2 and all updates.
I have a few email accounts that I access via a webpage.
When the dialog box appeared asking weather or not to remember the id and
password I must have accidentally requested not to remember any.

When I go to Tools>Internet Options>Content Personal Information Auto
Complete, all the boxes are checked and I still don't get the dialog box
asking to remember the id and password and none are being stored for recall.

Thanks

Hi Double Tap :)

Try the following and see if it helps:

If you said "no" to remembering a password. How do I make IE ask again
http://thepcyoubuy.com/passwords.htm
also
Restore the IE prompt to Save Passwords

Hope this helps.

The problem seems to be localized to Earthlink Web Mail.
I don't have the problem on any other page that has a form box to fill in
with ID and Password.

Hi Double Tap :)

Have you contacted Earthlink in regards to this problem as well?

Jan,

Yup, called earthlink they walked me through all the usual steps with no
positive result.
At this point the rep said it is a problem on their end ( Oh my gosh !! they
admitted that it was not my fault) and it would take 72 hours to fix. I am
not holding my breath waiting. :))

Wow! That is news! :)) Hopefully, they will have you back up and running
soon.

Thank you very much for posting back and letting us know, and for the
benefit of other readers who might have a similar problem.
