My Tables queries forms are working fine in datasheet and
design view but when I try to open my reports I get an
error: "The openreport action was cancelled" What could
be wrong???

Thanks in advance

I just upgraded to Office 2003 and I am having the exact same problem. Even
if I choose File...Print...from the menu, nothing happens. For some reason
it doesn't see the installed printer. Does anyone have any suggestions on
forcing MS Access 2003 SP1 to see the installed printer? (Rebooting does not
do it.)

Yes, I have already set my default printer in windows. I have 2 network
printers set up and one is the default. When I open the Immediate Window
(Ctrl-G) and type ?Pinters it shows my printers are set up just fine.
However, for some reason, I still cannot print from MS Access. I get the
same message as Ann "the OpenReport Action was cancelled." I also cannot
print anything from MS Access, not tables, forms or anything.

I print fine from all other applications. Does anyone have any other
suggestions?

what kind of events are you firing in your report?

have you reset tools, options ot defaults?

wish i could be of more help; windows and office is unreliable.

plan on formatting windows every 6 months; and if you don't have to-- then
you are lucky.

That is the way that I live with Windows.
