reports- formatting

Hi

I have a report (ACCESS 2003) that shows 6 columns of data on one page as a
quick reference and was wondering if there was a way of shading every second
row,
as I find putting lines on the page clutters the page

David,
On my website below, I have an A97 and A2003 sample file called
Alternate Row Shading, which is what you're looking for.
I have used that method on multiple column reports. If I remember
correctly, I had to adjust the vertical hieght of the detail section so that
the 1st line in Col1 was shaded, and the 1st line in Col2 was shaded...
etc.. (Col1 should deliver an even number of records)

Shade Shade Shade
NoShade NoShade NoShade

rather than...

Shade NoShade Shade
NoShade Shade NoShade
Give a go... it should work.
