Reports & C#

I have been using Microsoft Business Intelligence for 1st time. This software
has been able to create my reports based on a table I have. But note, this
report is built using Business Intelligence (Visual Studio). Now, the Report
pulls data from a database. I also have a C# application that interfaces with
this same database. What I would like to do is to display the content of this
report in my C# application. How do I go about doing this?
 
Is this not what the report viewer component is for in .NET 2. i have looked
at it yet but just a thought.
