Reporting fields

I am trying to display horizontally, results from a query in a report. The
problem is that the results are from a table that has a field labled Category
Types. There are 10 category types. I am trying to display the results for
these category types horizontally, not vertically, in a report. Is it
possible, and if so, would I have to code it in or create a new field header
for each category type?

As data source of Report use a CrossTab Query which is
going to have CAtegories as Field Name and the data in
rows. (Hope you know how to create Crosstab query).

Try it, and hope it helps.
