reported error (0x800CCC33) : access to account was denied

Is downloading the hotmail connector a new requirement? I have been using
outlook with my hotmail account for years and this is the first time I have
had this problem. I have my hotmail account linked to outlook on three
computers and none of them are working as of September 1st.
