Report with subreport

I have designed a report which has 3 columns of of data and a subreport with
1 column, which rests between columns 1 and 3.
I have tried to insert a page break to split the report at a specific
section which does work, but the data in the subreport column does not break
where i want it to.
I think the problem is because the subreport is line up column wise to match
the corresponding rows in the main report. Is there any way around this?

Do you mean that your sub report is in the detail section of the main report?
What is the link on the information - if it is coming from 2 tables maybe you
can link in the data source and just have the main report. Need a bit more
info I think on what you are trying to do
