Report Question

Dee

I've set up a report where one of the fields comes from a lookup table. The
lookup table has an autonumber and description. for example 1=Complete
Response, 2=Partial Response, 3=Stable Disease. When I look at the report it
only shows the number. 1 for Complete Respose etc. How can I have the report
show the actual description rather than the number? I am using Access 2003.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Best regards,

Dee

Include the "lookup table" in your report's record source. This allows you to
bind a control to the "description" field.

Hi Dee,
Set the column count to 2, and the column width value to "0;1". Assuming
that the lookup has the first column set as the autonumber and the second
column set as the response, that should work out.
Good luck!
