Report of annual recurring appintments for this year?

How do I generate a report of this years recurring annual appointments?

We'd like to generate a report listing the current years recurring
appointments filtered by category but the appointment date doesn't appear to
be a choice when selecting search criteria. However if you export calendar
data using a date range a field called "StartDate" is exported.

Is there a way around this, tips, tricks, advice?

TIA

The calendar export looks like this:

I'm off to a meeting, but can get you started with one idea. Go to
View|Arrange By|Current View|Category. This displays the calendar
items in a list view and then you can sort the column headers. There
is a recurrence field you can sort. I don't use categories, so this
is as far as I got. Hope it helps.

Thanks to all who replied however this solution does not provide a means to
sort a custom view chronologically. When using custom views, where is the
<appointment_date> field?

When exporting calendar data by date range the "StartDate" field is exported
which identifies the appointment date within the date range specified however
this field does not exist and therefor can not be used to sort by in any
custom view.

My guess is that exporting the data is my only choice.

I think you are correct that exporting is your only choice. Recurring
events are single items in the calendar, not multiple ones. Only the first
entry is reall there. The rest are calculated on the fly in the
Day/Week/Month views.
