report manager for add-ins

I am currently doing a course on exel and my tutorial is windows 2000. My
computer runs microsoft windows xp 2002 edition and there is no option for
report manager in the add-ins tool menu. can anyone advise me how to access
report manager with xp 2002

Are you asking about the Excel menu choice in Tools | Addins?

This has nothing to do with Windows 2000 vs Windows XP. It has do only with
Excel, which is an application program and not part of either operating
system, Windows 2000 or Windows XP.

I'm not sure exactly what your problem is, but it's either because you have
a different version of Excel installed than the tutorial assumes, or you
don't have the same addins installed.

At any rate, you can probably get much better help if you ask in an Excel
newsgroup, not this one, which is for Windows XP.
