Report format keeps changing

Hi,

I have a number of reports set to landscape and the margins set at
15,10,10,10 ( I don't need a large margin).

Often though I notice that the report changes back to portrait and 25.4? for
all the margins, especially after modifying the report. The report runs a
number of times from a query where the criteria changes as the VBA code moves
the variable from one record to the next reord in a table. I then have some
reports coming out landscape and others as portrait. This is really baffling
as it is the same report being used.

I have no reason to suspect the code as that does not set the properties of
the page, but merely call for the report and preview or print as the case may
be.

I would have thought that having set up the report once with the orientation
and margins set, and saved that, then to change those parameters would
require my intervention through the page setup.

Be interested in any thoughts.

David,

If you are using office / Access 2000 download the service packs for this.
The problem is a known bug and fixed with the service packs. As an interim
fix turn off the name autocorrect options in the tools options.

Thanks for the info. Yes I should have mentioned that I am using Office 2000.

However I have had loaded SP 3 since it was released, and the only Auto
correct function I can find relates to Name autocorrect (Track and Perform).
Are these the ones that you mean or is there another one?

If you are using Access 2000 this is a known bug and is documented in the
Microsoft Knowledgebase articles:

240826 'Lost Printer Settings when Name Autocorrect is turned on'

Turn off the Name Autocorrect feature as a temporary 'fix'.
To turn off this feature go to
Tools|Options|General
