Report Error

I have 2 tables related. One for Parents and one for the
children. The children's table is a subform for the main
form (Parents details) and all the data entry works fine.

However when I design and run the report it repeats the
parents names for each child EG:
Bill Smith Father
John Son

Bill Smith Father
Jill Daughter and so on

Can anyone advise me how to prevent this, so that all the
children pertaining to the one family will list under the
parents names

You need to set up a group header / footer on the report.
In the group header have the Parent Details, and in the
detail section have the child information. It would then
display:-
Parent Information
Child Info
Child Info

Parent Information
Child Info

etc
