Report Error when Previewing

When I preview a report that has a range of dates, the record selector in the
lower border doesn't always work. If I try to click the arrow to advance
one record, the mouse pointer turns from a "pointer" to a "text editing
cursor" and I can not click it. The goto the last record still works.
 
I have seen this behavior with Access 2003 and WinXP if the report has its
Auto Center or Auto Resize event set to yes and you maximize the report
using code or a macro in the Open or Activate event. I don't remember which
of the two properties above causes the problem (only one of them does). When
I just tried it, I couldn't get it to act up any more, so it appears to have
been fixed. Whether the fix was in Office 2003's SP1 or WinXP's SP2, I don't
know, I have both installed.
