Report Error Problem

Everytime I tried to create a subreport I get a "Application-defined or
object-defined error" in the last step when I click on Finish. Doea any one
have any idea what is going on?

Ayo,

This looks like a wizardproblem. Sometime during installation certain dll's
aren't installed correctly. You could try a repair via setup. Often the only
solution is to install again to get rid of this. What version are we talking
about? 2003

not the answer you were hoping for i know but problems with wizards are hard
to solve...

Its 2003. I have been using this all alone. It just wouldn't work for this
particular instance.

In that case try using a totally new report.

First create the main report. If that goes well, create the subreport
manually or by wizard. Just don't link it as a subreport yet. Is it possible
to create the two seperate reports?

If that's the case try dragging the subreport to the mainreport (in
designmode) and link the sub and main report manually.

Also investigate the datasources you are trying to use for your main and sub
report. Remove some fields from the datasource for your subreport (in a copy
ofcourse) and try again...

I had to break down the fields in the subreport into six parts. Now
everything works fine. Thanks.
