Report data reverts to prev rec in tbl; qry for report is correct

Hi,

I've a report that is built on a query. Since there are numerous records
that could end up in a report, I put a parameter on the query to ensure that
I only get the report for a specific record, and that the page numbering is
correct (whole report could have 6 pages, but it has reports for three
different records. Record 2's page numbering would be "Page 3 of 6" and
"Page 4 of 6" instead of "Page 1 of 2", etc.

When I run the report based on the parameter (AuditID), some of the data is
for that specific record, while other data (Findings, Observations, and
Comments) is from the previous record in the table. Now, when the report is
run without the parameter, all the data for each of the records is correct.
The problem with generating the report this way is searching, page numbering,
etc.

Any ideas on what is happening?

Thanks,

Londa Sue

Without knowing how your report is doing the page numbering, it's pretty
hard to say what's going on. To see how to have your page numbers change for
every group, see http://www.mvps.org/access/reports/rpt0013.htm at "The
Access Web".

BTW, there was no need to post your question multiple times. These
newsgroups are staffed entirely by volunteers. 3 or 4 hours without an
answer is not unreasonable.

Didn't realize it had been posted several times, Douglas.

I posted on the other day, which is slightly different for this one. I am
fully aware of the volunteer status, as they have helped a few times before
with issues.

Thank you,

Londa Sue
