I am trying use a text box to calculate how many times the letter C appears
in another text box (with a running sum) and displaying it in yet another
text box.

Can anyone help?

I am trying use a text box to calculate how many times the letter C appears
in another text box (with a running sum) and displaying it in yet another
text box.

The third text box can just refer to the second text box,
and set its Running Sum property to Over All or Over Group
as needed.
