Replying to Messages Does Not Save Copy in Sent Items Folder

i have created a rule for messages from certain people to go into a certain
folder. When i try to reply to them my message does not go to the sent items
folder but comes back into the folder where i sent the message from. Is there
a way to have the replyed message go into the sent items folder?
 
Tools -> Options -> Email Options... -> Advanced Email Options..., uncheck
the box to save replies with the original message.
