I use the "Web Reader" to view XP Newsgroups. (I prefer it to Outlook's news
reader.) Beginning this morning any time I click "Notify Me Of Reply", I get
"Notification failed. Please try later."

Is there a problem on M/S server or is the problem on my computer? And if
it's on my computer, how can I correct it?

Thanks,
Milt

Hello,
When I clicked on the "Notify me of replies" on the page I was redirected to
a Microsoft page requesting to send information to my listed e-mail account.
After agreeing the page indicated that the post was sent.
When I clicked on reply in the message I had the usual page to use for a
reply, received the sent notification page.
Hope this makes some sense to you.
take care.

Perhaps Microsoft is changing some of the links.

Hi again Beamish,

I just read and answered your other post. I'm also getting redirected and
have to go to the second site, as you describe here. And, I've tried turning
off my Popup blocker. It hasn't made any difference. I still can not mark a
posting "Notify me of replies".

Thank you,
Milt
