Yuri Palagin

In addition to my previous post, my boss wants to know how to set the same
template for replied and forwarded messages in Outlook 2003 as the one he
set for newly created messages.

Please give me a hint...

Replies and forward use the format of the sender.

You cannot use a template for replies and forwards as templates are for new
items, not replied items. You can always copy/paste but you will lose
functionality.

Please do not cross-post to irrelevant news groups. Thank you.

After furious head scratching, Yuri Palagin asked:

|| Hi everybody,
||
|| In my Outlook 2003 (Corporate mode, Exchange 2003), I have set Plain
|| Text
|| format for all new messages (Tools -- Options -- Messages). But when
|| I
| click
|| "Reply" to a message in HTML, my reply is also created in HTML
|| instead of
|| plain text. Thus, instead of ">" at each line, I get a blue vertical
|| line
|| with the text indented. If I now choose Format -- Plain text, the
|| blue
| line
|| is gone, the text stays indented, but no ">" character again.
||
|| So, where should I look to check that ALL my messages (newly created,
|| replied, fowarded) are set to Plain text with the ">" sign at each
|| line?
||
|| Thank you for any lead,
||
|| ypal
