Reply issue in Outlook 2003

When I try to reply to an e-mail it won't do it, it automaticaly inserts '
colens in the return address and won't send

State your Outlook version and give an example.

When i click reply it takes the return address and it lookes like this
'(e-mail address removed)'

I see no colons (i.e., ":") in your example. Are you referring instead to
the apostrophes?
 
The same thing is happening to me only I'm using OL 2007. I've tried opening
the message in the outbox and sending it again. Within seconds of the outbox
being displayed after the message window closes, the subject info reverts to
non-italic, indicating that it's not going to be sent.
