I've got forms on some of my sites and was wondering if there is a way to
send an automatic reply to someone that signs up for my newsletter? If so,
can someone give me the code or tell me where to find it?

thanks

You would do this with a auto responder, which would need to be provided by your web host if using
the FP Form Handler.

thanks I'll check that out - one other question on forms - when I test it
out the 'subject' heading in my submitted msg from the site to my inbox says
"data posted to form 1 of http:/l......

I've changed the form properties to read Round the Barn - in the subject
heading under options - but it doesn't reflect this title for subject - is
there somewhere else that I need to change this?

thanks

Check with your host.

I have also had the same problem with my email showing the subject of "Data
posted to form 1" of http://www.mywebsite.co.uk/information.htm, and yet I
believed I had completed the form correctly and filled in the subject box.

I use FP2000.

I also did a search on google for that phrase, and it seems a lot of people
have the problem, but no where could I find a solution.

I did ask my host to look into it, but they have no answer yet - however, I
solved the problem.

Right click on the form > properties > options> email results tab
Input the desired subject heading, and uncheck the Form Field name option.
It seems to me that you cannot have both.

I would have liked the subject of my email to say something like
"Information request from Chris Smith", where Chris is the Contact_fullname
following my text, "Information request from, Contact_fullname" so I had
checked the box.

Also ensure that the form properties> form name is unique if you have more
than one form on your site.

Not possible to include both when using the FP Form Handler.
