Replication within a site

DCs within a site are supposed to replicate on a “demand†basis, ie change
password on 1 DCs in the office and it reps to the other immediately, only
intersite is 15 mins by default.

We have a delay problem between two DC in a site. I thought this was
something to do with having “outbound†partners to notify DCs in a domain.

If I do a repadmin /showreps only one DC in the domain shows the others as
a “outbound†– ie notify the other. All inbounds (pull reps) look ok.

Any ideas? Delay seem to be around 15 mins or more. Both DCs in same site
and physical location.

Install the server utilities from the server install disk from:
d:\support\tools\setup.exe

Try running ReplMon.exe, load up all your dc's and see how the topolgy is
defined. Right click on the server in question and select check replication
topology.
