Replication within a Site

F

Fortage

We have 4 domain controllers and one site. Below each
domain controller in NTDS settings there are only 2
connections to other DC's. All DC's are on the same LAN.
Any idea why all 3 DC's are not automatically created?
Any reason why I shouldn't create the addional connections
to optimize synchronization?

Thanks,

For intra-site replication, AD creates ring topology. Every DC replicates
within its two partners, and all form the "ring". The replication will work
fine.
Whty should't you create additional connections? Because it would require
some time and effort :) and you'll most likely not be able to notice the
difference.
