I have an Access file to be shared by a couple of laptops, located anywere in
the country. They run Office 2003 with XP.
I need a replica in each laptop and the master on a server.
Replication work fine on a LAN but I am unable to do it on the Internet
server.
Keep receiving the same error message:
Invalid HTTP address. (Error 3685)
The HTTP address specified is not valid for this replica set. The HTTP
address supplied did not match any values in the field InternetAddress in
the
system table MSysTranspAddress.
Is ther a way around this headache? besides aspirin? :)

If you don't require more than 2 connections at any given time, you might
consider using Terminal Services instead of replication. It is much faster,
and probably more reliable. Terminal Services is otherwise called Remote
Desktop Connection and can be called by choosing Start ... Run, then typing:

mstsc.exe
