Replication - Not enough memory???

I have a repicated 2003 database that I have used for 2 years without
problems.

The size of the database has not increased nor any design changes made.

However suddenly I now have a problem when synchronising as users get the
message "not enough memory" as soon as they try and start direct
synchonising.

Please don't suggest indirect synchronising as I don't think this ideal for
remote users over slower connections?

Any ideas why the message has started appearing??

I would suggest you ask in the replication newsgroup.
