Replication more than tripled size of Backend

After replication, the size of my Backend went from 76M to 286M. Is this
large size increase normal? Will there be a significant performance hit?
 
1. Have you compacted it? Tools, Database Utilities, Compact
2. Backend what? Master? Replica?
3. I'm not sure that's significant really if you've done 1.
4. Although it isn't obvious, there is a replication newsgroup where the
experts on this can provide expert advice.

Click on Developer - Office Solutions/Access/access.replication
