Replication Manager

Another question (can you tell I'm upgrading versions here?).

Is there a Developer Edition for 2003? I can't seem to locate any
information. I'm looking specifically for the Replication Manager.

Thanks for all of your help so far.

I seem to recall that the replication manager was removed in 2003.

However, post in the replication newsgroup to get a clearer answer.

Hi Anne,

For Access 2003, you need to purchase the "Microsoft Office Access 2003
Developer Extensions" (don't you just love that obscene name?) in order to
have the "Developer's Edition". More information here:

I'm not sure what your question is in regards to replication. It is
supported in Access 2003.

Actually, Tom, while you do need the Microsoft Office Access 2003 Developer
Extensions to create a run-time version, I believe the only way to get that
is to purchase Visual Studio Tools for Office 2005

Okay, perhaps I should have used the word "install", as in: "For Access 2003,
you need to install the Microsoft Office Access 2003 Developer Extensions".
The link I provided to Tony's site includes links that explain how to
purchase the needed software (Visual Studio Tools for Office 2005) that
contains the developer extensions.
