Replication Issues

I have two AD sites. The first site contains an Exchange
server for the whole domain. The replication between
sites is set to replicate every 90 minutes. If a user at
the remote site changes their password they will get an
error in outlook requesting them to login again and it
will eventually lock them out of their account.

Questing: Once the user is authenticated the to domain,
should a password change be able to lock them out when
they try to connect to resource that has not received the
password change thru replication?

If outlook is attempting to authenticate to a DC with the old password info
and this occurs more than the lockout policy then an account would be locked
out.
