Replication ID as Primary Key

I'm developing a database which, at some future point, may reside on
several, un-networked, computers. Accordingly, I'm considering using a
replication ID as the primary key for my base table.

However, in testing, I'm having difficulty establishing referential rules
using the replication ID amongst the various tables.

Can anyone point to literature on the subject of using replication IDs as
primary keys, inasmuch as Access Help doesn't seem to offer much insight?

TIA.

Oops...my error and red faced about it. I had the field type, set in the
tables employing the replication ID as a foreign key, set to the wrong data
type.

Not recommended. See
http://www.trigeminal.com/usenet/usenet011.asp?1033. Michka is well
regarded as one of, if not the, leading expert on Access replication.

But I'd also ask in the replication newsgroup.

Thanks Tony for the link...certainly gives me something on which to
chew...particularly since the database will be in a foreign location which
is not one of my favorites. :)

Hmm, foreign location not one of my favourites? To me that would be
Yellowknife, NWT in January. <smile>

Not nearly that nice...this beast will reside in the former Soviet
Union...although the temperatures might be similar at that time of year. :)
