Replay slides on CD presentation

Hello,

I created a PowerPoint 2003 presentation for a client. It contains a
narrative, music and custom animation. Using information gained from a
response by Sonia Coleman to an earlier post (circa 12/2004), I was able to
get slides to replay by adding a blank slide before each of them with a 0
slide transition time. Thanks to Sonia!

However, when I packaged the presentation to CD, the replay doesn't work.
The blank slide preceding the slide that I want to replay comes up, but it
simply remains on the screen.

Is it possible to replay slides on a presentation packaaged to CD?

Thanks in advance for any responses. I've already learned a great deal from
this newsgroup.

Yes it is possible. A few considerations:
- Did the audio/video files get transfered to the CD?
- In the same folder as the presentation?
- The speed of the CD drive will be a factor, as it will need to 'spin up'
each multimedia element, which can cause long delays or crashes.

Thanks for the response Troy. In answer to your questions:
- I used a music "clip" that was embedded in the presentation. When
initially playing the presentation from CD both the music "clip" and the
custom animation in the presentation worked fine. It is only when I
select/click the button that hyperlinks to any blank slide that precedes the
slide that I want to replay that the presentation hangs up.

The problem seems to be that the presentaion doesn't transition from the
blank slide to the next slide in the presentation (Slide transition time set
to 0).
