Replacing the red underlining

Is there a way to replace the red underlining with highlight instead when
mistakes appear?

You could do it with vba

With ActiveDocument
For i = .SpellingErrors.Count To 1 Step -1

.Shading.BackgroundPatternColor = wdColorRed
.NoProofing = True
