Replacing shared borders with page includes

G

Guest

My current site uses Shared Borders for the top, left and bottom borders.
From everything I've read here, I'd be better off using FP page includes
inside a table instead.

Is there any way to replace the current shared borders with page includes,
or do I need to completely redo my site from scratch?

Also, to use the page includes on every page, do I need to re-create each
page individually from a template page or is there a way to replace the
shared borders that will ripple through the entire site?

Thanks very much for your help!

No, no rippling allowed...you have to do it page at a time.
You don't have to recreate the page, just make a table put your content in it and turn off the shared border for that page...move on to the next one.

If you are using FP2003 consider DWT instead of, or in conjunction with, Include pages
