Replacing content based on condition

HI,

Is there a way i can do this on all records in a table?

1. Replace X field with A if it contains B, if Y field in that record
fulfils a cetain criteria.

2. can i do the above to replace 2 fields simultaneously?

3. Can i do the above such that the data to be replaced with (A) is entered
from keyboard?

Will be happy even if i can be told what aspect of Access i need to study to
understand this.
