Replacement parts for a keyboard?

OK, while in the presence of an exasperating, fertile nymph and having
consumed several barley pops I had an aberation.

So now I'm love-less, sober and have a damaged PS/2 plug on the end of
my keyboard cable. No, don't even go there!!

I had a look in the most ovbious places for replaceing it, but I am
either using the wrong terminology or you can't buy one, only a whole
new keyboard.

I know KBs are cheap, but this one (don't laugh) holds memories and I
would like to continue using it for as long as I can. Anybody know
what these plugs are called? I tried the usual, PS/2 plug, 5 pin male
DIN, but no-go. About all I could find were adapters.

I looked it up and am fairly certain that what you are looking for is:

MiniDIN 6-pin Male In-Line

But because they have a $5 service charge on orders less than $25, you
might be better off to buy a $5 keyboard, cut off the cable and splice
it on to your keyboard. This would give you an "extension!"

Or, you could just buy a PS/2 keyboard extension cord and splice it
that on. It probably costs the same as a keyboard though.
