The only thing you can be sure of is that ActiveX is going away, not to be
replaced by anything really.
There is the option of "sourcing" .Net controls in IE, but that's not going
to be a viable option, seeing as there's no documentation on it (for v2),
it's been breaking current v1.1 installations, and the fact that it's never
really worked.,

This all sucks biggy timos! No choice I will have to use unmanaged MFC/ATL
to write my ActiveX controls then package them into a CAB file for easier
installation.
