Repeating with F4

I've just upgraded to Word 2002 (from Word 2000) and can no longer use the F4
key to repeat certain actions, specifically font formatting. It still works
with paragraph formatting.

Is there a setting I don't know about? Would appreciate any help.

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, many actions that responded to F4 in previous versions no
longer do in Word 2002 and 2003.

There is a Repeat command available. You might try customizing your toolbar
by adding Repeat under Edit commands. It has an icon similar to do and undo
except that the arrow comes nearly full circle. I find it very helpful and
better than F4. I don't know if Repeat does more than F4, but try it to see
if it helps you.

Repeat and Redo are basically the same thing, and EditRedoOrRepeat is the
command to which F4 is assigned. Sorry.
