Repeated requests to activate

each time i turn on, or restart my computer,
the "activate windows xp within 30 days" pop-up screen
(at the bottom right corner of my screen) continues to
request activation registration. i have registered around
30 times now. i suspect there may be a problem? buy what
do i know? any suggestions?
 
There is a difference between activation and registration.
Registration is optional. Activation is not.
Did you register, or activate?
