Repaired XP installation now now network connections

I have kept XP on my small old hard drive which I sometimes use as a slave
& t4est software. I was having problems with setup up aborting during
software installation on my master drive so booted up using the slave.
However that was coming up with errors so I thought I'd do a repair install
from XP CD. It went ok except now I need to update it to SP1 etc. However
I've lost all network connections & if I try create one via my broadband
all XP does is create an icon saying "refer me to other ways to install
network". I cant get online.
How do I rectify this please? Thanks

Try reinstalling the drivers for your network card.
