Repair install problem

I tried doing a repair install after I replaced my motherboard
and it got through the majority of the installation fine. The
process is on the "Installing Windows" step, has about 13min
left and is "Registering Components".
However, I've now run into a problem. I'm getting the
following error:

unregmp2.exe - Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point GetIUMS could not be located
in the dynamic link library MSDART.DLL.

Why is that happening?

Also, something odd occurred during the installation. I
used my DVD-R drive (my only non-USB cd drive) to
install windows. After the reboot, when the process went
to install additional files from the CD, windows could no
longer see my DVD-R drive. I'm thinking that's because
my drivers are no longer recognized? In any case, I had
to put the CD in my USB CD-RW drive and continue
the installation from there. It prompted me for every file
but I was able to just change the drive letter and it worked
fine. Could this be a cause for the above error?

thnx,
Christoph

You can only repalce the motherboard and do a repair re-install of XP if you
have the Retail version of XP. OEM versions could be "locked" to the
original motherboard and as per the EULA, they are forever tied to the
motherboard.

I don't have an OEM version. I'm replacing the MB on my office PC and
our company as a multi volume license copy.
