Reorder a CSV file...Anyone?

How can I reorder a CSV file (in Excel) in which names and addresses are
held?



Each name and address is on an individual row, with the name and each line
of a particular address in a separate column. I wish to reorder this matrix
of data so that it can be transferred to Word with the names and addresses
appearing as though they would on an envelope (i.e. below each other) viz:



Name

Address1

Address2

Address3



Rather than:

Name Address1 Address2 Address3





I'm using Word & Excel 2003.

Search Word help for "Mail Merge." You may need to add a header row to
the Excel spreadsheet. I've done this with mailing labels but it should
work for envelopes, too.

Bill,

Name and address information is not normally stored in the label layout you ask for. The
best solution would be to keep it in the table format it's in, where it's much more useful,
then use Word or Access to make labels when you need them, from the table.

Thanks for the pointer Bill. Worked like a dream!
