hi,

[I do not know exclactly where to ask... please forgive me for this
cross-post]

one of my users reads his emails from home with Mozilla Thunderbird via
IMAP4 but TB needs to have the trash folder named "Trash" and our French
Exchange server publish it under the name "Eléments supprimés".

I once read that it was possible to rename the special folders with OWA.
is this true ? will regular Outlook connection on this account continue
to work correctly after this rename ?

TIA,
Pierre.

I think the ability to rename the Special Folders in OWA was removed in one
of the E2K service packs. You can probably do it from the server if you
still have the M: drive visible. Your user will have to log into the server
to be able to see it, though. You probably won't have permission to browse
anyone else's mailbox folders.

It shouldn't affect Outlook. It's only a display name.

Lee.
