Rename Taskbar Buttons

Does anyone know how to rename Taskbar Buttons?

For example, we have an app that displays as 'Enterprise Knowledge Platform'
but we would like this to display as 'EKP' as that would be visible in the
Taskbar whereas at the moment the User gets 'Enterprise Knowl'.

If I am correct, that is read from the program itself. It is defined by
the programmers when they build the software.
