Hi All,

Is it possible to rename column or row headers in Excel?

I mean the Columns A, B, C, D... abd Rows 1, 2, ...

Many Thanks

You can rename the column headers to numbers.
You can also hide both headers and enter whatever you want in the first
row and the first column, then freeze the first row and first column so
that they will always appear on your worksheet.

Not in the way you're probably thinking. You can goto Tools>Options>View
tab>Window Options>Uncheck Row and column headers then you can use row 1 for
your own custom column headers and you can use column A for your own custom
row headers but any formulas (for all practical purposes) would still need
to reference the default column/row headers.
