Removing .zip from cell

I am using office 2007...

I have a column of cells that end in .zip example: me.zip

how can I have excel remove the .zip and leave the me?

You have posted this question to the wrong newsgroup.
The access in this groups title refers to Microsoft Access, a database
program.
Please repost to the correct newsgroup for the Excel program you are
using.
 
Click on top of column, click the pull down of the 'Find & Select' iconn
select Replace, in the Find What: enter .zip and click Replace
All.
