removing xp and restoring win2k

a client installed xp on his win2k computer...actually we
set up a dual boot. xp was ot what he needed for the
hardware and games he runs, so tried to uninstall...we
just deleted the folder containing xp. 2k now appears to
have some corrupted registry entries. when he tried to
reinstall 2k, it only gives him the option of a new
install and losing all his hardware and software settings.
Isn't there something comparable to sfk in win2k to just
repair the corrupted files?
