How do I remove the web toolbar when the option is already unchecked under
the Toolbars Menu option. (If I click the option, I get two web toolbars !)

Its Outlook 2002 SP3

TIA

My guess is that your outcmd.dat file (which contains the configuration of
your instance of Outlook) is corrupted. Edit Outlook, rename the
outlook.dat file (to outcmd.OLD), and restart Outlook. You will lose your
configuration settings and have to redo them.

On Windows XP for Outlook 2003, the file location is:

C:\Documents and Settings\<youraccount>\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outcmd.dat

or, in case you moved your profile:

%userprofile%\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outcmd.dat

If that didn't do it, rename outcmd.OLD back to outcmd.dat, and hope someone
else replies with a better answer.

Tx,

I'd tried that - but the toolbar just came back.

Just found and old posting though that mentions it can't be removed. All you
can do is grab the left hand side of the Address field and move it right.

I think that's what I might have had in the first place - just looks weird
when you have a large white space to enter a url.
