Hi,

I have a user who somehow downloaded a couple of toolbars
that he doesn't want. I went in and turned them off
through view | toolbars, but when you close and reopen
the browser they disable the google toolbar (which we
want) and reenable themselves. How do I delete them off
of his computer completely. Is it a registry change?

Thanks,

Mike

Mike,

See Add/Remove Programs and uninstall the respective software. If they are not listed, get ToolbarCop and delete the unwanted Toolbars:

Using ToolbarCop to remove the unwanted Toolband, Toolbar Icons and BHO:

NOTE: Once you delete the unwanted Toolbars, you may want to reset the toolbar placement using the Options menu of ToolbarCop. It resets the ITBarLayout value in the registry.

Ramesh,

I did remove a couple of programs from add/remove
programs (addestroyer was one), but didn't see a program
listed for the toolbars I was speaking about, hence my
question. Thanks for the response, I will try it and let
you know.

Thanks,

Mike
